The EWCS-1924 is regarded as a simple version IP PBX, so a roaming user can register to the EWCS-1924 and has his/her own extension number when out of the office.

The EWCS-1924 Web Call Server supports more than 15 RFC standards, such as RFC3261, RFC2327, RFC2833, RFC3263, RFC3489, RFC3389, and so on. The EWCS-1924 can interoperate with 3rd party SIP voice IPPBX/Gateways/IP-Phone as well as other ESSENCE VoIP products. Supported Voice codecs and VoIP technologies are: G.711u-law/a-law, G.723, G.729ab; Voice Activity Detection (VAD), and the Comfort Noise Generation (CNG).
